The Stock Market as a Driver of Long-Term Growth: Roundtable at the TRIM Center

On March 31, the TRIM Center hosted a roundtable discussion titled “Financing Sustainable Economic Growth: Development of the Russian Stock Market.”

The discussion brought together experts from the financial sector and academia. Participants explored the relationship between stock market development and economic growth, the impact of the current macroeconomic environment on capital markets, and regulatory measures that could strengthen market structure and performance.

Nadezhda Yurchenko, an analyst at the TRIM Center, presented a report comparing the Russian stock market with international experience. The session was moderated by Gregory Chepkov, Lead of the Center’s Macroeconomic Policy and Financing Economic Growth track.
